Rosemarie (Lapinski) Lipinski Bio
RoseMarie Lapinski was born and raised in Chicago’s Brighton Park community living near her brother Wally and his wife Ester Lapinski. Both of her parents passed away before she was five years old.
RoseMarie graduated from Five holy Martyrs Elementary school and Kelly High school on Chicago’s Southwest Side.
Before getting married to Bill Lipinski, and during her early years of marriage, RoseMarie worked for the Chicago Park District as a physical education instructor, preschool teacher and supervisor of the Chicago Park District preschools.
After getting married and the Lipinski’s raised two children, Laura and Dan, RoseMarie returned to school earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Xavier University and law degree from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.
She worked for the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County, the William S. Hart law firm, and the James Sullivan mediation law firm before being appointed to the Illinois Court of Claims.
